Issue: Chris Matthews: Terrorists ‘not evil’: MSNBC host says enemies of U.S. ‘just have a different perspective’/Canadian Press

DFO: I’ve tried to hold my political preferences somewhat in check to make all of you field comfortable in this corner of the blogosphere. But Matthews’ comments in the article above are absurd. The terrorists we’re fighting deserve the most contemptible of names. They kill indiscriminately — men, women and children, Muslim and non-Muslim, to terrorize the innocent — using brainwashed followers as human bombs. These aren’t freedom fighters. They’re mass murderers. And Matthews, on this point, is absolutely clueless.

Question: Am I wrong?
