Local Question of the Day — 11/25/05
Issue: Prairie land is falling fast to developers: Local planners hope to fashion policy that preserves green spaces, town identities/Erica Curless, Spokesman-Review
DFO: For the record, before the prairie is covered with subdivisions, I'd rather have two weeks of field burning than 52 weeks of domestic pollution above the aquifer.
Question: Which do you prefer (for the sake of argument because the prairie is going the way of the dodo bird)? Field burning. Or subdivisions?
