Huckleberries Online

Wild Card/Black Friday — 11/25/05

Apparently, there’s quite a mess developing now as tens of thousands of parade goers are packing into downtown Coeur d’Alene — while others are trying to get to the North Idaho College basketball using the Garden Avenue intersection. A CPD Blue on the police scanner just used the term “chaos” to describe the traffic situation. Sorta sounds like the mess in Puyallup, Wash., earlier today as shoppers climb over each other to reach the 32 laptop computers that are on sale at a Wal-Mart in Puyallup, Wash. (AP Photo/The News Tribune, Russ Carmack). Here’s hoping all of you are safe out there tonight as this Huckleberry Hound prepares to break for home. See you back here Monday …
