Local Question — Top Citizen?
Every year, the chambers of commerce for Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls present a variety of honors to members and local residents, including citizen of the year. This year, The Spokesman-Review Editorial Board is looking to name the citizen of the year for the region. (My personal favorite: Shannon Sullivan, the single mom who is in the process of bringing down the most powerful political figure in Spokane.) Rather than focus on the other side of the border, who would you say has been the most significant figure in Kootenai County or North Idaho this year?
