Strategic Vision, LLC Poll: Rossi Beats Gregoire

March 24-26, 46% D’s, 37% R’s

*The Strategic Vision poll found that 39% of respondents approved of Governor Christine Gregoire’s job performance; 52% disapproved; and 9% were undecided.

*In a hypothetical 2008 match-up between Gregoire and 2004 opponent, Dino Rossi, the poll found that 51% said they would vote for Rossi; 38% said they would vote for Gregoire; and 11% were undecided.

*When asked if they were confident that Washington had overcome the problems that plagued the last election; 18% said yes; 66% said no; and 16% were undecided.

*When asked if they favored an immediate withdrawal of United States military forces from Iraq within 6 months, 56% said yes; 28% said no; and 16% were undecided.

*United State Senator Patty Murray received a 55% job approval; with 31% disapproving; and 14% undecided. United States Senator Maria Cantwell received a 49% job approval; with 32% disapproving; and 19% undecided.

*In a potential match-up with Senator Cantwell and Republican Mike McGavick, the results were Cantwell 49%; McGavick 39%; and 12% undecided.
