Mailbag: No Place Like CDA Home

Stopthecrazygrowth: For all the complaining I do, there is still an awful lot to like about living here. To me, the one underlying positive about our community is that it is in fact very much a community. You would have to go far and wide to find a more compassionate, giving community of people than we have right here in North Idaho. I have lived all over this country and rarely will you find people more willing to get involved in making life better for others. This includes non-profits, charities, faith based groups and our corporate neighbors as well. I suppose why I am really so concerned with too much growth is that this sense of community will wither away and leave us as just another average place to live. I actually do have a fair amount of faith that the inherent goodness in our citizens will persevere no matter what.

DFO: I couldn’t have said it better.
