"Last Monday former Idaho state senator and 1st CD Republican candidate Sheila Sorensen (R-INO) was in New York City attending the swank Women's Campaign Fund event. There were at least a dozen chi-chi restaurants in attendance, and Sheila (who, by the way, darling, looks FAAABUUULOUS! The perks of having a plastic surgeon for a hubby, hmmm, sweetie?) was busy rubbing elbows with the likes of Gail Sheehy, author of Sex and the Seasoned Woman, Former V.P. Al Gore's daughter Karenna Gore Schiff, New Jersey Democratic Governor Jon Corzine, Democratic Representative from New York's 28th District Louise Slaughter and Def Jam Records founder Russell Simmons. Not to mention Ted Allen, food and wine specialist from the TV series Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, as well as schmoozing with Massachusetts Senator and former Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry and his lovely wife Teresa Heinz Kerry. All reports are that Sheila had a most wonderful time dishing with the cognoscenti."

Question: Is hobnobbing with pro-choice pals in New York City the way you win a GOPrimary nomination for Congress in Idaho?
