Pornography: No Harm, No Foul?
"The most legitimate claim against porn is that it debases women; the rest is shifting the blame. Yes, grown men have gotten so addicted to porn that their real world relationships rotted and then blew away. Then, disgustingly, they blamed the Web sites for their problems, as if it wasn’t within their power to extricate themselves from the inescapable force that is Internet smut. ... It’s really the same thing as blaming cigarette companies for smoking cigarettes, and McDonald’s for making you fat. As American as it is, it’s still blaming the pusher for one person’s irresponsibility. It’s wimpy, basically."
