Issue: Jail group raising cash for survey: Advisory committee hopes to get $12,000 from area businesses to ask about expansion/Marc Stewart, Coeur d’Alene Press

DFO: Izzit just me, or should the jail expansion promoters have taken time last go round to see what the public would support?

Question: Unquestionably, we need a jail expansion of some sort. Are you more inclined to vote for a half-cent sales tax to fund the work, if a ballot measure is brought back this fall?
