Mailbag: Whattabout Adamson?

Dan of the County: I’m wondering if you know any of the “story” on Dan Adamson who is running for Govn’r on the Rep ticket. On Saturday evening I saw one of his TV ads (as in $$$) and this morning coming into the courthouse from Twin Lakes via Highway 41 there were all kinds of his color campaign signs. If someone has the money and organization to even blanket the Rathdrum area I’m assuming he must be quite serious, and I’m wondering what kind of following/platform he has?

DFO: Can’t see how Adamson could be anything but roadkill for Butch Otter in the Republican primary for governor. I hope he isn’t spending his own money in his quixotic race to upend Butch. I’ll guarantee you that the advertising companies are making sure that he pays them upfront. Does anyone out there know anything about Adamson. I’ll give you bonus points if you can name either Republican running for Controller Keith Johnson’s seat.
