Mailbag: Rami Vs. John … Fun, Fun, Fun

Digger: Alright folks, for me, these Mitchell-Amaro threads have now become just a place to get a good laugh. I enjoy seeing the Tinfoil Times folks push their candidate and the regular HBO’s rip apart their arguments - not supporting Mitchell - but trying to derive some debate on Amaro. Keep it up - I haven’t had this much fun in a long time!

DFO: Win or lose, I tip my cap to attorney Rami Amaro and her backers for having the guts to take on a sitting judge. To her credit, she has spotlighted a coupla areas of concern in Judge John Mitchell’s record: the dozens of recusals and an apparently soft record on sentencing. She’s made a coupla mistakes along the way. At the end of the day, however, she will have no reason to hang her head. I keep waiting for one of the candidates to make a good case why s/he should win my vote. BTW, Amaro and Mitchell will face off today at the Demo’s Friday luncheon at noon at the Iron Horse.

Hat Tip: Dang, for the “Separated @ Birth” suggestion re: Rami Amaro and actress Geena Davis.
