HBO -- to Westsider ... Again

Westsider (re: the "P.S." request to pick the best HBO pseudonym): "Well definitely NOT the frequent night-time poster Size Genetics. Why can't this spammer be stopped?"

DFO: Smile when you say Size Genetics (a penis enhancement scame) or Viagra or Cialis or the one or two other rotten scammers who post here. They and the HBO Blog Troll are pushing us toward registration. If we block the spammers IP, they simply move onto another IP. As a result, we try to anticipate their moves and block ranges of IPs, which occasionally end up snagging you legitimate bloggers. Easymark and The Heimlich Maneuver were both caught this past week in the fight against the spammers. The spammers tend to attack at night. You have to be careful with Cialis because it appears in words such as speCIALISt and can create peripheral headaches. Tonight, Size Genetics has spammed me 7 or 8 times. I'd love to be able to pay this (expletive deleted) back by sending a worm back via return e-mail. Instead, I dutifully kill out the spam posts and await the regrettable day when HBO'll require registration.
