I survived my stint as emcee at the Hayden Bible Church Valentine’s Banquet Friday night — and then helped wash dishes afterward. My pastor’s wife was shocked to see me doing so. But I don’t mind washing dishes — as long as there’s good tunes or a ballgame on the radio. In this case, we put good tunes on the church intercom. A good time was had by all.
