HBO — to Arpie re: Anti-Gay Marriage Amendment

Arpie: “I’m surprised DFO has not highlighted or provided a link to the vote yesterday in the Idaho Senate, for a costitutional ammendment to ban gay marriage. He wrote a signed commentary about this issue a year or two ago. This is going to be a huge mess for Idaho the rest of this year. I’m already disgusted in even thinking what the TV commercials are going to be like as groups descend on Idaho to push this ban.”

DFO: I thought I’d posted something about this. Oh well, it’s easy to do so now: Senate approves marriage legislation: Amendment goes to voters in fall/Meghann M. Cuniff, Spokesman-Review. It’ll be interesting to see what happens this year re: controversy because a dozen states have passed amendments either supporting traditional marriage or opposing gay marriage in the last coupla years, including uber-liberal Oregon.
