"Well, today makes four months without a cigarette. Who'd a thunk. Longest I've ever quit. Is it getting easier? Some days I guess. I miss the little (ahem, suckers). Always there, always reliable, always packed together ready to tickle my dopaminergics. (Sigh) Come on baby, light my fire. Do I feel better? Yeah. Even though I've gained 20 lbs and eat way too much candy, my energy level is much higher and I smell better and all that. I think (or hope) I've peaked on the weight gain as I've lost a couple of pounds recently."
