1. I wasn’t going to post a BOTLB today, but Marianne Love/Slight Detour forced me to do so, with two excellent posts this week. One that had me busting a gut as she plays off our front-page story Monday about bull “butts, guts and nuts” here. And the other about a developer blaming a local baby boom for all the population growth here.

2. Bearable Bob and CDADave, two of the HBO blogosphere’s finest are bed-ridden with upper respiratory problems here and arthritis maximas here, respectively. But they’re not MIA as they continue to soldier on in cyberspace.

3. MikeK/Idaho Kennedys has posted for the first time since — what? — the Coeur d’Alene municipal elections, and he’s begging for matching money for a $100,000 grant for the new library here. Alas, where have you gone MikeK? Has politics ruint another good man?

*Betsy Russell/Eye On Boise zeroes in on a slight scrap between Reps. Bob Nonini and Jim Clark over a Rathdrum aquifer funding bill here.

*HBO newby Hindu/Sagebrush of the Tri-Cities already is suffering Portgate fatigue here,
