Before I begin the daily Huckleberries Online blogging, I wanted to thank everyone who extended kind Christmas/New Year's holiday wishes in my absence since Dec. 23. I needed the R-'n-R. And I'm now rarin' to go again. Today's fairly exciting because it's the day that Mike Kennedy, one of our own, graduates from blog commenter and partisan pol to a nonpartisan elected official. Here's wishing Mike and re-elected CDA council members Deanna Goodlander and Woody McEvers the best as they are sworn in today. We'll be keeping an eye on them. And I'm sure they'll provide fodder for this blog mill.
