DFO: I’ve been blogging for almost 2 years now (come Feb. 16). Dunno what impact Huckleberries Online has had in Coeur d’Alene and North Idaho. If I had more time, I definitely would do things here (online chats, keeping track of votes by North Idaho reps, etc.) that would have an impact.
Question: What impacts do you think North Idaho bloggers have had on their communities?

And the best 2007 news blog in the Pacific Northwest by the Society for Professional Journalist. Print Huckleberries is a past winner of the Herb Caen Memorial Column contest by the National Association of Newspaper Columnists. The Readership Institute of Northwestern University cited this blog as a good example of online community journalism.
