Huckleberries Online

Wild Card/Thursday — 1/26/06

I've been a little owly of late -- what with blogging at the speed of light, late nights and early mornings, and blog trolls to deal with. As I wrote on the comments side yesterday, I've snapped at a coupla commenters, anonymous and otherwise -- some of whom might have deserved it. But, as your blog host, that's no excuse for my semi-flame responses. So, in an attempt to be kinder and gentler, I'm extending an olive branch to Facts/Any Mouse, the uber-conservative who got the boot last week for refusing stubbornly to post a pointed question directed to Editor Steven A. Smith on the Ask the Editors blog rather than mine. Here's the deal I have for the Mouse: I'll let him post here, if he still wants to. But ... he'll have to post under his real name. I do. Ditto for some of his main targets. Deal, Mouse? The rest of you can comment on my recent surliness, this fine offer to Facts/Any Mouse or start your own thread with this Wild Card ...
