Question: Should Airport Carry Boyington’s Name?

Issue: Airport renaming still in flux: Troops who hope to commemorate Boyington left uncertain after meeting/Sam Taylor, Spokesman-Review

DFO: Sam told me that the airport board hardly gave the Marines the time of day when they proposed renaming the airport in honor of Boyington, the WWII war hero from Coeur d'Alene. Board members should have at least discussed the issue and rejected it, if that was there bent. To say little and do nothing dissed the Marines in attendance. Bad form.
