Question: Should County Stage Fall Jail Vote?

Issue: Fall jail expansion vote not likely: Time running out to put issue on Kootenai ballot/Erica Curless, Spokesman-Review

DFO: Some good news, bad news here. If the lame-duck commission doesn’t stage a local-option sales tax vote on the jail this fall, the cost of the project will increase. The work needs to be done. On the other hand, we won’t be paying the half-cent sales tax until the work is absolutely necessary.

Question: Should the county put another jail vote on the November ballot?
