Top Cutlines — 10/12/06

Baker Valentyn Shtefano and his bride Viktoriya show off her wedding gown, which Shtefano made out of flour, eggs, sugar and caramel in the western Ukrainian city of Uzhhorod. The edible dress, made of 1,500 cream puffs and weighing in at 20 pounds (9 kilograms), took the 28-year-old baker two months to make. You write the cutline. (AP Photo)

In A League of His Own

Known as a gluten for punishment, and to save some dough, Valentyn spent two months on a dress for the flour of his eye, causing him to eclair that his new bride was eggs-actly the sweetie he was looking for -- JohnA.

1. like his brother the confectioner, whose wifes nickname after their wedding became Candy Ass and his other brother the sous chef whose wife is now teasingly called Poke Salad Annie, Valentyn hoped his bride would soon be remembered as the Beautiful Baked Bride of Uzhhorod -- keithincda.

2. (tie) Your right, the dress does add about 20 pounds -- Cabbage Boy. What you can't see is that she also has a bun in the oven -- Family Phil.

3. Baker Valentyn Shtefano and his bride Viktoriya march down the aisle to the tune of "Here Comes The Samonella" -- Thom George.
