Bayview Herb: Enuf of the Extreme Partisanship

Bayview Herb: I have a heavy heart tonite, as I watch the owner of the Captain's Wheel Reastaurant live out his final days. It kind of makes me want to puke. Listening to idealogues, egomaniacs strut their stuff, when much more serious things are happening out there. Has anyone thought about anything lately that resembles an issue other than the extreme partisanship that is taking place now? I don't think so. What we have herea, over and over and over, is bull...t that doesn't change the world one bit. I've seen wild turkey's strut during mating season. None take a back seat to you people. Yes, let Green Libertarian back, with the provision that he can't post after the fifth beer.

DFO: Herb has articulated two things that I've been thinking about today. What would happen if we dropped the extreme partisanship here and starting talking about: 1. Ways to fix things in our little spot in the world and even regionally/nationally; or 2. Sharing our expertise in various areas with others here. I don't mind the elbows that are thrown re: politics and religion. But I enjoyed most Marmitetoasty's show-and-tell with a bag of bones. And found most useful Bob's thumbs up for the movie, "The Prestige." My wife has been asking about it. BTW, GreenL's free to come back here if he wants.
