Sandy: Fond Memories of Dr. Wood

Sandy: I have many memories of Bill Wood. Since he and his wife Dolores were best friends with my husband's Aunt and Uncle,Eileen and Otto Litzenberger we saw them a lot. I have many memories of barbeques, boat rides and his stories. He not only had stories to tell you a lot of times he would go get the clothes he wore, (like yellow plaid pants). You need to know, Bill was a pack rat and he saved everything. But, then there were some sad times too that I shared with Bill. My Dr. was out of town and our little month old baby boy was sick. So I ran him down for Bill to check him. Bill discovered aftersome blood work the little guy had leukemia, but he could not bear to tell me when I was there alone. So he told me I had to take him to hospital in Spokane. Then he called for Dolores to go with me. My husband was out of town. It didn't end there, but during the next few months both Bill and Dolores helped my husband's Aunt and Uncle with my twins. Bill had a deep faith and he lived it. I attend the same church as he did so saw him every Sunday, until this last year when he wasn't able to get out. He was a wonderful bible teacher and I was blessed to be in some of his classes. He was so proud of John, Jackie and Jenny. But he was especially happy that they all knew Jesus as their savior. Good bye Bill, I will miss you.

JBelle: omg Sandy! Thank you. That was phenomenal.
