Killer Duncan Finally Leaves Kootenai County

Kootenai County’s most notorious inmate was transferred to the state’s maximum-security prison in Kuna today after 478 days in an isolation cell at the county jail. Joseph Duncan was moved just three days after an interview with Kootenai County investigators, something he agreed to as part of an Oct. 16 plea deal in which he admitted to a May 2005 triple-murder and kidnapping charges for binding the victims.
