JohnA: No Wonder Washington Suffers Water Envy

On the cusp of yet another north Idaho weekend in boater paradise, I pause to thank our WA neighbors for allowing us to use their waterways for free. Let's look at what awaits us: First stop, Sprague Lake, aka Long Lake, aka Long Turd Lake. It is the final resting place for the treated waste of a half million people. "Daddy, is that a crappie or a brown trout?" In the best interest of fair reciprocation, WA sends us their boaters and we send them our crap. Works for me! Next up is the hot spot of Fishtrap Lake. At 200 acres, you can make it a morning trip, unless you stop to view its scenic shores of sagebrush and rattlesnakes. Not to worry, the bustling resort city of Sprague is available to the weary mariner. Fun.
