MamaJD: Photog Rookie Takes 2nd @ Fair

I entered some photos in the North Idaho Fair. I know, I know - who the hell do I think I am? (No - really, that’s what the voice in my head would whisper once in awhile.) I was also very nervous. Photos are turned into the fair office a couple weeks in advance of the fair. I had plenty of time to imagine the outcome. Fantasy A was where I walked into the photo exhibit and my pictures made a clean sweep winning every ribbon possible, even for the categories that didn’t apply because my pictures were that awesome! Fantasy B included me walking into the exhibit and overhearing everyone laughing while pointing at my horrendous pictures. People would say, “Poor woman . She probably doesn’t realize her photos are the equivalent to one of those tone deaf, mentally impaired American Idol auditions” — MamaJD.
