Huckleberries Online

Inside Huckleberries — 2/8/07

*”I guess we all have/Secret thoughts./It even happens/To astronauts” — Idaho Escapee.

*Blogmeister Emeritus Ken Sands asked if you Safari browser users are still having trouble seeing the entire cover page of Huckleberries Online. Anyone?

*Chances are real good that you’re going to be seeing OrangeTV’s reviews of restaurants, after-hours entertainment, music, etc., in an SR Handle edition coming soon to a doorstep near you. We’re ready to sign our favorite HBO reviewers, if I can locate him.

*BTW, we located the problem that caused some HBOers to lose yesterday’s content below the Google ads that run under the second item on the cover thread. Seems the Safari browser weren’t interacting well. Noah Kroese and Michelle Rafferty reported the problem. Don’t hesitate to let me know when you see something amiss here.

*Thom George: “Nothing on the blog about Matt Roetter’s bride being named to head-up Crapo’s staff in NI? Does this mean Crapo supports the Idaho Republican’s Party refusal to acknowledge its debt to Kootenai County? After all, his chief staffer believes we should “Go Red or Go Home!” (Thom, ya gotta let it go.)

*Mommy Dearest/BrodH20: “I hope you realize that Blogfest ‘07 is the same day as Cruiser’s annual Pimp and Ho theme party. I hope that’s not a conflict for your loyal bloggers and blurkers.” (DFO: We just lost the Spokane Valley contingent.)

*Janis Meyer, 54, owner of the former Bookseller in downtown Coeur d’Alene: a public memorial is planned for at the Harding Center gym on 15th Street from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health or Hospice of North Idaho. Hat Tip: Thom George
