Huckleberries Online

Inside Huckleberries — 2/19/07

*Family Phil has sent along a link to a Hayden blogger that looks promising. I think the blog’s titled, “What Ever Happened To …” But it could be Scented Geraniums. Check it out here.

*The Orb checks in from west of the Cascades: “Dave, was reading about the blogfest you all had this weekend. Sounds like it was fun. I hooked up with my buddy Sagebrusher this weekend, and we were saying it would be fun to attend one sometime.” (DFO: Now, that would be beyond cool.)

*The Lovely Kathryn Joins Blogosphere: Note from Sam The Reporter this morning: “You should know that this weekend’s Blogfest has inspired a new blogger to hop into the foray. The Lovely Kathryn has begun posting at Meet The Taylors. It should be a good time.” (DFO: Sam, you’re a lucky man. And so is TLK. I was delighted to see the two of you — and to see that you’re so in love. Protect that. Always.)

*Speaking of new blogs, Raymond Pert’s two sisters are now part of our regional blogosphere: Silver Valley Girl enjoys the people, places and things about the Silver Valley happening yesterday and today. And Inland Empire Girl/Gathering Around The Table “enjoys the peaceful, natural beauty of Lake Roosevelt. This blog will reflect on the daily happenings of life in the country.” In introducing the two new family bloggers Saturday, Raymond asks: “Will Mom be next?”

*E-mail Policy: Proposed change in Coeur d’Alene School District e-mail police: “E-mail may be viewed by others. There is no guarantee of confidentiality.” Wonder why they thought of that? ;-) (Hat Tip Meghann Cuniff.)
