*A sign on the wall of the Torch Lounge bikini bar today announced that it'll be celebrated its fourth anniversary at its downtown location Saturday. My, how time flies when you're not paying attention.
*For those keeping score at home, HBO posted a first this morning -- the first seven-day total that averaged over 6000 page-views per day. Also, HBO registered the first nonpolitical daily total of more than 7500 Thursday. The numbers for this week (with unique views in parenthesis): Monday -- 7247 (4104), Tuesday -- 6349 (3851), Wednesday -- 7099 (4036), and Thursday -- 7540 (4269). Seven-day PV total: 42478. Thanx for your support.
*Mike writes: "Dave, I find it interesting that you have not said a word in regard to the hearing coming up on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. in court room number 1. Is the SR going to do an in depth article reminding the public of the importance of the hearing and how it effects them. This is history in the making Dave thanks to the SR. I plan on being at the hearing to hear the arguments as do others of the HBO crowd." (DFO: HBO'll be all over it Monday.)
*TC asks: "Have a problem that I hope our HBOers can help solve. I have several old computer monitors, a keyboard and a printer that I need to find a home for. Does anyone know of a charity that takes old computer stuff? Or know of any place to who might benefit from these items? Thanks!"
*HBO has encountered a weird situation with the comments section. The posts can be made but the time is messed up. In other words, a post at 11:30 a.m. will wind up in the comments thread marked for an hour earlier. I've alerted Blogmeisters Ryan and Joe about the problem.
*I'm trying to figure out why Brand X published another one of its anti-LCDC bashing columns without properly identifying the writer. On the Op-Ed page today, M.K. Sims joins DanG, Mary Souza and a coupla Pachyderm Club types in the anti-LCDChorus in a screed, titled: "LCDC is spending cash like it's play money." Is M.K. Kathy Sims, owner of Coeur d'Alene Honda and former KCo Repub chairwoman and appointed Idaho senator? If so, why doesn't the Press ID her as such. Inquiring minds want to know.
*Opinion Editor Doug Floyd circulated the following message to the Editorial Board from reader Chris Anderlik a few minutes ago: "In my eighty years (60 of which I am aware) I have never seen a more insightful, clever, appropriate, ingenious, creative (ad infinitum) cartoon than that of Noah Kroese on Thursday March 29."
