Huckleberries Online

Inside Huckleberries — 5/10/07

*Roving reporter Meghann Cuniff called at 4:28 p.m. to say that there appears to be a pedestrian-vehicle accident investigation going on at Third and Harrison. CPD Blue is interviewing a little girl. About an hour ago, there was a two-vehicle accident just south of there in front of the Youth Ranch on Fourth. Be careful out there.

*Question (from Arpie): I'm glad you found Rocky's Blog. He is one of the best environmental reporters in the country. His blog needs some work though. I have high hopes for the future. Maybe you can take him under your wing. BTW whatever happened to Hagengruber's proposed blog: "The Back 40"? Answer (from DFO): Yeah, Rocky's hard to beat as an environmental reporter. His blog needs work. But the info is good. Jim's blog has fallen through the cracks for now. An editor somewhere up the line exercised a pocket veto, I believe.

*Frum Helen Back: "Thanks so much for the story in the paper. I called Princess Abby's mother so she would be sure to cut it out of the paper for her baby book. Abby is the only little girl I've known who loves dressing up in princess clothes and she just loves me to call her Princess Abby. BTW. She called me the next day to see when we are going back to the ice cream parlor. The princess loves the finer things in life so we are going again tonight after McD's."
