Marine’s Lament: We Need A Draft
A Marine corporal who fought at Fallujah and elsewhere in Iraq says we need a draft to get the job done. Not a Vietnam-style draft, with all of those available deferments, but a WWII draft.
It's what he expected as he escaped The World Trade Center on Sept, 11, 2001.
Would a draft help the U.S. achieve its objectives, or would it hasten our withdrawal from Iraq?
