Huckleberries Online

Vox Box: Measure Your Enviro Awareness

American Public Media has unveiled a free online game called "Consumer Consequences." The interactive game let's you see the "environmental consequences" of our lifestyles on Earth. Click here to play.

Players' scores are based on the number of “Earths” it would take to support their lifestyles. Thanks to my SUV, it would take about 3.4 Earths to sustain my evil ways.

Unless you grow your own food, never throw anything away, and don't use heat, you are probably doomed to lose the game. I'm told these carbon footprint games are all the same--propaganda to get everyone to feel guilty for not recycling and buying new things.

But it's still fun! Try it: How do you do?
