Craig Responds To Legal Proceedings
Idaho Senator Larry Craig issued the following statement regarding today's legal proceedings in Minnesota: "Today was a major step in the legal effort to clear my name. The court has not issued a ruling on my motion to withdraw my guilty plea. For now, I will continue my work in the United States Senate for Idaho."
DFO: Is it just me, or has the tone of Craig's comments changed? Now, he sounds as though he's claiming he didn't do it. It also sounds as though he's going to play through until the decision. Am I reading this right?
