Revelers throw tomatoes during the annual food fight, the Tomatina, in the town of Bunol, Spain, Wednesday. Each year thousands of people gather to hurl truckloads of tomatoes at each other. Local lore says it began in the mid-1940s with a food battle that broke out between youngsters near a vegetable stand on the town square in Bunol.

Top Cutlines:

1. It wasn't the size of Indy's tomatoes that enraged Fair goers so much as the way he insisted on wearing his blue ribbons, and the way he kept shaking his head sadly at the other entrant's offerings -- CindyH.
2. None of the tomatoes reached Michelle but they kept trying -- Pecky.
3. Guy in yellow shirt-"Hey, you over there! If you hit me with any more tomatoes, I'm going to throw one of these watermelons I snuck in at you!" -- Shannon.
