DeArmond Mill Site Worth $13.25 Million

Item: Appraisal: DeArmond Mill site worth more than Chesrown is asking North Idaho College/Maureen Dolan

More Info: There is no longer any question about the value of the piece of property that would anchor a higher education corridor in downtown Coeur d'Alene. The market value of Stimson Lumber Company's DeArmond mill site property is $13,250,000. A long-awaited appraisal of the 17-acre parcel was made public at Wednesday's meeting of the North Idaho College board of trustees by college president Priscilla Bell. Completed by Coeur d'Alene firm Morse & Co., the appraisal is conditional on the property being cleared, cleaned and not contaminated, Armon said. The college hopes to purchase the mill site from Black Rock developer Marshall Chesrown for $10,000,000.

Question: Now, do you support the purchase of the DeArmond Mill site by North Idaho College for an Education Corridor?
