After a string of alcohol-related offenses, including two DUIs and six assault charges, the Student Conduct Board expelled Andy Roof (pictured), defensive tackle for the WSU football team, on Tuesday. “Andy’s changed his life around 180 degrees, and as a coaching staff we’ve seen the positive impact he’s made in the program,” head football coach Paul Wulff said in a Tuesday press conference. It is commendable that Roof apparently able to conquer his personal demons and make such a profoundly positive life change in merely five months.
