Fisher: War On Christmas? C’mon

Where would Bill O'Reilly be without people like Dan Barker, co-president of the Freedom From Religion Foundation? Barker used the presence of a Christmas Nativity scene in Washington's state Capitol to rub visitors' noses in his own scoffing at belief in God. His group installed a sign near the symbol of Christ's birth calling religion a myth and a superstition. He was within his legal right to do so, but his display is hardly a demonstration of the good will most believers and nonbelievers alike share in this holiday season. It was enough, though, for O'Reilly to remount his high hobby horse from which he jousts with what he calls a "war on Christmas." The war is mostly a figment of O'Reilly's crusade for ratings on Fox News/Jim Fisher, Lewiston Tribune. More here.

Question: Is there a "war on Christmas" going on? Or simply isolated incidents like the one attracting attention in Olympia?
