5:46 p.m. R/P reports that a semi has jackknifed on Highway 95 near Garwood. It's in a ditch and not blocking the road.

4:58 p.m. Vehicle over the side of Highland Drive, a quarter mile from Riverview.

4:40 p.m. A vehicle is submerted in Granite Lake in Bonner County. A sheriff's deputy on the scene said he sees no individual in the car. Or footprints in the snow on the bank.

4:14 p.m. R/P reports 4-5 horses are in a field @ Idaho & Hayden, without shelter, food, or water.


3:30 p.m. Stop sign is down and buried in the snow @ Clagstone & 54/Athol.

1:57 p.m. I90 crash on the bridge at Stateline, between a semi and a vehicle, has sent the vehicle over an embankment and blocked the highway.

1:28 p.m. Parker Toyota employee reports that the front bumpers of his vehicle and another are locked after an accident in the Fred Meyer lot. He doesn't want to move them. And the other driver has run off.

1:18 p.m. Roommates in 100 block of E. Borah are involved in a verbal dispute that has spilled out to the sidewalk in front of Shull's bicycles on Government Way (south of Appleway). One wants the other to leave.

1 p.m. Resident @ Lakeview & Rimrock has dropped a 500-pound safe on his foot.

12:31 p.m. Accident @ 95 & Bruner (in front of Silverwood), with 2 or more injuries.

11:50 a.m. Two-car injury accident on 53 @ M/P 5, with two confirmed injuries. A person is trapped in part of a passenger car that's stuck under a truck. Update: Highway 53 is shut down (and remains shut down an hour later)

11:46 a.m. R/P reports traffic lights @ Government Way & Kathleen are all green at the same time.

11:34 a.m. Female took a shot at another driver @ Seltice & Bay. May be the result of road rage. Someone has taken the gun from her. She's very combative.

11:29 a.m. Exchange between ISP trooper & office: Dispatch: "Would you like me to send out a press release telling driver's be careful this morning." Trooper @ I90 crash scene: "Yeah, stay home." Update: Snowplows are blocking traffic on both sides of the accident and the onramps.

11:14 a.m. Crash on I90 @ Northwest Boulevard with injuries involving 2 semis & 5 cars. The freeway is closed down. Cars are trying to exit the wrong way up freeway ramps.

9:55 a.m. Man has fallen and possibly broken his leg in the Coeur d'Alene Fiber Foods parking lot.

9:26 a.m. One-car rollover involving Excursion on Mica Shores.

8:34 a.m. I-90 readerboards not working.

8:32 a.m. Jackknifed truck backing up traffic on Highway 95 @ Silverwood.

8:27 a.m. 2-car crash blocking Prairie & 41.

8:19 a.m. Multiple-car crash with injuries on Interstate 90 @ M/P 5 (Post Falls). Traffic is backed up from M/P 6 to 8 on the interstate.
