5:50 p.m. 2 males driving recklessly on a snowmobile on Seltice Way @ 41.
5:21 p.m. Several vehicles involved in a collision, just east of the Sherman Avenue off-ramps on I90.
4:45 p.m. R/P reports a pipe has burst in Riverway Place (& Huetter), and water is running down the street.
4:28 p.m. A female nabbed for shoplifting is threatening to sue the store.
4:17 p.m. Semi broke the arms of the railroad crossing on
Highway 41 & Ross Point Road, near KFC, and slid onto the tracks.
Motorists are going around the arms to pass the accident site.
3:49 p.m. A
backhoe in fire at Rapid Bend (cross of Riverview) near State Line. The
fire is spreading to a trailer and snowmobile. A shop is 10-15 feet
away. A house is 50 feet away.
2:37 p.m. R/P reports he had a confrontation with another motorist and a female passenger, who said she had a gun and reached into her purse. R/P identified the man who is a former convict with a long list of officer alerts. The pair left in a '95 Dodge Dakota n/b @ 95 & Dakota.
2:33 p.m. A semi truck with a trailer failed to make the turn at 95 & Dalton and is blocking all 4 lanes of the highway.
2:07 p.m. Dog is injured but still alive after being struck by a car at Highway 95 & Chilco.
2:02 p.m. A
14YO boy was knocked unconscious and quit breathing after he fell head
first from a roof at 461 South Park (cross road of Aspen). Emergency
breathing procedures were required. He's now en route to KMC by
ambulance.
12:45 p.m. Fireman reports: "The Candy Cane Run is on tonight at 5 p.m. at Station 3.
12:39 p.m. Exasperated patrol officer sez: "They're really buzzing up and down now. We shouldn't have let them out.
12:34 p.m. The traffic light @ 95 & Bosanko is finally fixed, relieving a large traffic jam on the highway.

male who is wanted on a felony warrant reports that a female is in his
house on Coeur d'Alene Avenue threatening to break items.
11:37 a.m. I'll begin a belated Scanner Traffic today by reporting the city plows just went by my house. Given the enormity of Snow Storm 2008, I'd say the local crews deserve a hat tip for their good work. Not much else happening out there today. So far.
