Vacation Wild Card No. 11 — 12/30/08

Our visit with the kids ended Monday morning, when Junior and his lovely wife braved commuter traffic and two Spokane Airport closures to return to Denver only a coupla hours late. Amy Dearest returned to Portland and decent weather the night before. All of them were still raving about the brunch at the Coeur d'Alene Resort that I treated them to Sunday. In fact, my daughter-in-law declared that all future visits will end with brunch at the CDA resort. Pricey, but worth the memories. In a rare twofer, you'll also notice that I posted the resort's North Pole scene at Casco Bay, which appears on Councilwoman KerriT's OnLocation North Idaho blog. Meanwhile, I've asked Blogmeister Ryan to switch the blogrolls from the old HBO to the new site before I return next Monday, so I can hit the ground running. I'll just be posting Wild Cards and photos for the rest of the vacation. This is the 11th of 16 Wild Cards.
