When I have to brave the vicious elements, I don my trusty Sorels- they have a killer tread and have the added bonus of keeping my feet toasty warm. Of course, as I wear a size two in kids shoes, I have to double sock it as well to keep 'em on as they only come in womens size four at the smallest. Therefore, I look like a duck when I wear them. But screw it, at least I'm a warm, sure-footed duck.
