Bobby’s Girl: Not Romantic, But He’ s My Guy

I've been married for a quarter century to the least romantic man in the universe. It used to bother me that he saw little sense in buying cards and bouquets of flowers. But then I stopped feeling sorry for myself and really looked at all the ways he shows me he loves me through the year. He's a good provider, a generous Good Samaritan, a father any child would be blessed to have and he makes me laugh. Our sidewalks and driveways are always clear, he warms up my car for me, he's there when things are good and when they aren't so good. So if a birthday or Valentines Day or anniversary goes by without a wrapped gift or flowers, it's not hard for me to be reminded that there are a lot of ways to demonstrate love and my sweetheart does it 365 days out of the year/Bobby's Girl.

Question (for women): What would you rather have (if you could have only one)? A guy that's true-blue and dependable, without a romantic bone in his body? Or a man who's romantic but not a decent provider?
