Item: Miss Ukraine Lika Roman brings message of faith to Spokane Valley/Meghann M. Cuniff, SR

Quote: Roman, 22, said she’s a virgin and doesn’t believe in dating. But she does believe in true love. “What I do is I ask God what he thinks about that guy, because he knows a lot better,” she said. “I truly live a genuine Christian life.”

Schedule: Roman will ... speak Friday at 7 p.m. at the Center of Life church, 13328 E. Wellesley, and Saturday at 7 p.m. at God’s Embassy Church, 1012 S. Freya.

Question: Is Miss Ukraine's message of personal purity old-fashioned in an era when many have a casual attitude toward sex?
