Item: Kim sentenced to fixed life in prison/Karen Dorn Steele, SR; KREM2 video: Kim had a history of violence.
More Info:Kim was found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder for stabbing his father, Richard Kim, and bludgeoning and strangling his mother, Terri Kim, on Dec. 5, 2006, as they returned to their Mt. Spokane home after work.
Question: Is a fixed life sentence too harsh for a mentally ill 19-year-old, despite the heinous nature of his crimes?
