Barring access to the police reports, I submit despite having a gun on your person, even granting exemplary skills using your weapon, you still only prevented a few deaths and injuries. You could not stop Kazmierczak because there was no time to react to his presence. Perhaps even a certified police officer with a sidearm could have done better because they train for this type of incident, but still, even in that case, someone would have been injured or died.
