Bette The Librarian: Where’s Bob Hough?
Bette Ammon, Coeur d'Alene Librarian: Can someone out there help me with this question received today from New York?
Dear Librarian: I have a Library patron who is trying to identify a piece of music he owned in the mid-1960's. He'd heard it on the Couer d'Alene radio station at the time; it was saxophone instrumental only & may've been a DJ copy for that station, then he (my patron) bought it somewhere. I am trying to locate Bob "Bubblehead" Hough, a DJ at the time who I believe may know what the piece of music is. I see by several web sites that he lives in Utah. I've e-mailed "Philco Bill" www.philcobill.com who now lives out of your area & have heard nothing. Have also e-mailed Julianne Hough, who seems to be Bob Hough's granddaughter & has been dancing on the TV show "Dancing with the Stars". I've heard nothing. Would you happen to have an address & phone number for Bob "Bubblehead" Hough.
DFO: Betty, I believe Bob still lives on 4th Street in the Midtown area. He's listed in the phone book. Indeed, he's the grandfather of the "Dancing With the Stars" sensation, Julianne Hough.
