The governor just shared what he called a “shocking statistic” with lawmakers: “One out of every 34 Idaho males is under the supervision of the Idaho Department of Correction, either in prison or on parole. That’s equivalent to an entire legislative district, and it’s equivalent to the population of Eagle, Idaho, or Post Falls, or Moscow.” Many are in for drugs, he said.
