Question: Any Falls To Report This Winter?

Item: Icy conditions increase injuries: Falls are hard to avoid with walking as the main means of transportation for students/Chey Scott, WSU Evergreen

More here: For students who find themselves walking to class on less than ideal walkways, the key is to walk slow and watch the ground in front of them, said Ruth Nice, a registered nurse at Health and Wellness Services. "Walk on the white snow, not the clear areas, but even the white snow can have ice underneath,” she said. While there are not exact numbers on how many injuries have been related to falls on the ice and snow, Nice said Health and Wellness always sees an influx of weather-related injuries in the winter months.

Question: Have you slipped and fallen on the ice or snow this year?
