DOTC: Different Transportation, Different Parking?

I heard an interesting bit of conversation between a couple of our workers in the hall today. They were talking about the need to perhaps reconfigure some of the county parking area to accommodate more motorcycles, scooters, bikes, etc. I hadn't thought of that but it's probably a coming fact of life and they do take up much less parking areas than cars, pick-ups, and the dreaded monster rigs that have two sets of double wheels on the back complete with giant fenders that stick out and take up part of the parking spaces on either side of them and require a step ladder to get into/Dan of the County.

Question: How do you think the current escalating gas prices will ultimately play out, in terms of different types of travel and even parking space?
